Becky brings many years of expertise with a background in the areas of sales, marketing and business management, mainly from the corporate sector. Becky has worked and volunteered in the Jewish community in both Winnipeg and Vancouver for over 20 years. She is excited to bring her skills and experience to Gwen Secter, an organization that will continue to connect her with her Winnipeg Jewish roots.

MASHGIACH

Karen Richter, joined Gwen Secter as a Mashgicha in January 2020 after recently retiring from 30 years as an educator at Joseph Wolinsky Collegiate / Gray Academy.

She is a also a member of the Winnipeg Chevra Kaddisha.

SEVEN OAKS SENIORS RESOURCE COORDINATOR

Dan has worked in the seniors community for the past eight years organizing and facilitating a variety of recreational programs. He enjoys working with seniors, sharing stories of Winnipeg and cheering on the Blue Bombers.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Vanessa is our Executive Assistant. She started at Gwen Secter as a volunteer and was subsequently hired to join our team. We are grateful that Vanessa still volunteers some of her valuable time to the centre.

FOOD SERVICE MANAGERS

Galina Melenevska and Cathy Koltowski are respectively food service manager and cook in our certified kosher kitchen.

Hundreds of Meals on Wheels Entrees, catering and delicious lunches are prepared by these ladies.
